I personal use honeysuckle for skin inflammation and itching. It works well for killing germs. However, honeysuckle has a wide variety of uses. It is readily available.
Honeysuckle is used for digestive disorders including pain and swelling (inflammation) of the small intestine (enteritis) and dysentery: upper respiratory tract infections including colds, influenza, swine flu, and pneumonia. It may help improve other viral and bacterial infections, fevers, boils and sores.
Honeysuckle is widely used for urinary disorders, headaches, rheumatoid arthritis and to promote sweating. In the past honeysuckle was widely used as birth control. This was never proven effective and I strongly encourage you not to test that theory.
Honeysuckle is available in a wide variety of ways. For vendors who carry honeysuckle please check out our vendor page.
